Terrain Wizard Announces Modular 2.5D RPG Tiles

Las Vegas – June 15,  2015Terrain Wizard announced its  new line of laser-cut modular 2.5D RPG tiles.  Terrain Wizard’s modular tiles are laser-cut and etched from durable light-weight MDF.  They are ready to play right out of the package.  But if you want to you can detail them to create a personalized set.

Makes  Modular 2.5D RPG Tiles Available to Everyone

“Like everyone else, we think DM Scotty was brilliant when he created 2.5D dungeon tiles.  He solved the major flaw with 3D tiles, like Dwarven Forge’s product.  Now the DM/GM can see the encounter and people can play without knocking things over.  When The Dungeon Master G introduced the design for a set of modular 2.5D tiles, he opened a whole new realm of easily manageable tiles,”  said company spokesperson, Liam Fryers.

“Most of us are not crafters.  We want to get on with designing encounters and playing them out.  We are really not all that interested in dumpster diving for double layer corrugated boxes.  If you are all thumbs like me, the thought of spending hours measuring, cutting, hot-gluing, and painting tile sets really leaves you cold,” said Liam.

Play Tested

The tiles have been play tested by experienced DM’s and players.  Their feedback was used to create the final product.

“Players tell us the one inch grid is easy to see and the etching does not hinder play,” said Liam.  “The DM’s tell us our new slimline 2.5D walls let them see play and still keep players within dungeon boundaries.”
